HOW
TO SUBMIT A RESUME TO THE CAREER SERVICES WEB SITE
(Note: Currently Career Services is operating this feature for LCCC
students and alumni only.)
- Send your resume as an ATTACHMENT in Microsoft WORD
to mghilani@luzerne.edu.
Clearly state in the email what major you're in
and what type of job you wish to apply for, so we can place your
resume in the appropriate section of the job announcements page.
- The resume will then be converted to a PDF file
and posted under “Student Resumes” in the appropriate major/career
section of the “Job Announcement” page of the Career Services web site
at
http://depts.luzerne.edu/career.
- Resumes will not be edited for content or style,
so please do NOT include any personal information you do not wish to
become public. The submission of your resume implies your consent for
LCCC to
post your resume on the internet.
- Employers will then contact you directly if they
wish to discuss a position or schedule an interview. Be sure to
include the phone/cell number or email address that you can be reached
at. Remember, whatever number/address you provide on your resume will
become public information once the resume is posted on the web site.
- If you wish to have your resume removed from our
web site due to employment, or for any other reason, simply email your
request to
mghilani@luzerne.edu.
- LCCC reserves the right to remove resumes at its
discretion. All resumes will be removed after 6 months unless you
request differently.
