The bulk of our book collection is housed in the Regular book shelves, or stacks. These books are classified by the LC Classification system and organized alphabetically by call number. Students can check books out for two weeks and renew them once. Students can check out up to five books at one time.

New books are located near the Computer Lab in the library. This collection of books represents books that are newest to LCCC's overall collection. It is a rotating collection where books that have been on the New Books Shelf for some time get moved to the regular shelves, or stacks, to make room for the newer items.
