The Library catalog contains information about every item in the physical collection of the library. All books, audio cassettes, CDs, DVDs, microfilm, periodicals, court reporter tapes, and many other items, are all identified in the catalog. The only items not cataloged here are electronic resources. For more information on those resources, click here.

The next several pages of the virtual library tour detail how to search the catalog. Put simply the main function of this search is the keyword. When you enter a word in the keyword search, it will bring up everything that has that word (or words) in it, either in the title, the subject, the author or the description. This ends up being a good way to do a quick search. However, at times you need more specific results. For that, see the Advanced Search section.
