Using the Library

The library is an great place to study, find reliable resources and get assistance from the librarians, or for finding books to read for fun! To keep the library a great place for all patrons, we ask everyone to follow the guidelines below:

  • The library is a place for academic discourse. Be respectful of the diversity of experiences, knowledge, and opinions of fellow patrons.
  • Be mindful of the people around you and remember that patrons use the library for many reasons.
    • Groups are encouraged to use a group study room. These rooms are reservable.
    • Individuals looking for an extra quiet space to study are encouraged to use one of the designated quiet areas.
    • Patrons watching videos or listening to music need to use headphones and keep the volume low. Headphones are available at the front desk.
    • Talking on the phone is not permitted. Please take your calls outside.
  • If you experience excessive disruptions, ask staff at the front desk to assist you.
  • Food and beverages aren't permitted.
  • Please abide by the borrowing rules, and treat our materials and our space kindly. We appreciate your help in ensuring our resources continue to be available to everyone.
